TOP 10 changes for 2024

In 2024, we introduced a number of significant innovations and changes at WEDOS. Here is an overview of ten events that we implemented:

1. Launch of wedos.store: We have launched a new e-shop where we regularly update our range of products and gifts for our customers. A total of 16,698 WEDOS gifts have already been sent to you.
2. DMARC implementation for bulk emails: Starting February 1, 2024, Google requires senders of more than 5,000 emails per day to @gmail.com addresses to have SPF, DKIM, and now DMARC correctly set up. This measure is intended to increase protection against fraudulent emails.
3. Deployment of ARM servers: In February 2024, WEDOS began its global expansion with the deployment of 200 servers with Ampere Altra Max M128-30 ARM processors. These servers are more energy efficient and provide high performance, enabling more efficient operation of the WEDOS Global infrastructure.
4. Participation in international conferences: We regularly participate in professional conferences where we present our technologies and establish cooperation with industry experts, such as CloudFest in Germany, CloudFest in the USA, WordCamp Asia (Taiwan), WordCamp Europe (Italy), and WordCamp USA.
5. Opening of a new branch: In March 2024, WEDOS opened a new branch in Sezimovo Ústí with the aim of expanding its sales and administrative teams. This step enabled better customer support and more efficient company management.
6. Charitable cooperation: WEDOS has established new partnerships with several charitable organizations, thereby strengthening its commitment to social responsibility and support for community projects.
7. Introduction of new servers with 5 GHz processors: We have purchased a new set of servers equipped with 5 GHz processors for HPE Moonshot, which represents a significant improvement over the previous 3.7 GHz. This upgrade brings higher performance, especially for customers using content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and PrestaShop.
8. Company restructuring: As part of our restructuring, we have divided ourselves into smaller, more flexible units, which will accelerate innovation and improve customer adaptation. At the same time, we have launched a new website for easier navigation and better accessibility of our services.
9. Introduction of WEDOS NIS2 service: The company introduced a new service, WEDOS NIS2, which is designed to meet the requirements of the European NIS2 Directive and provide a comprehensive cybersecurity solution for European clients.
10. Knowledge base update: In 2024, WEDOS significantly expanded and updated its knowledge base to make it easier for customers to find answers to their questions. The new structure, improved search function, and more detailed instructions make it easier to solve problems without having to contact support.
