Which web hosting plan is suitable for my needs?
In general, it is not possible to clearly determine which web hosting is the most suitable. When choosing a plan, it is important to consider the parameters of each hosting to match the needs of your project. A lower tariff can affect the performance of a website, which depends on many factors - for example, updates (newer versions of content management systems often require higher performance) or traffic. With our hosting services, however, you have the option to switch from a lower to a higher plan at any time, and vice versa.
What should I do if I break my website? Do you have backups?
For the higher Extra web hosting tariff, we perform daily backups of the website content, all its databases and emails. Backups are done every night, with 5 days of backups available. Restoration from this daily backup is free of charge, and is performed by our technicians upon request via the contact form (login required).
For the basic NoLimit web hosting plan (without the Extra service) and the LowCost plan, we perform weekly backups, i.e. we make a copy of the data to the backup disk array once a week. However, these backups are not accessible to customers and are not intended for routine restoration upon customer request. They are mainly for us in case a server or disk array crashes and we are forced to restore the data. We strongly recommend that customers make backups of their data themselves in case they accidentally delete or corrupt something. If a customer requests us to restore from a backup, there is a one-off charge of 500 CZK excluding VAT (605 CZK including VAT). The request must be made authoritatively via the contact form (login required) and agree to the above fee. An invoice will be issued after the data has been restored and is due within 7 days. We restore from the last available backup, which can be up to 7 days old. We will provide the age of the last backup of specific data on request. In the case of web hosting, we will copy the website and/or database content to the web host and so the customer will have access to it via FTP.
