VEDOS Free disk for web hosting

With NoLimit and VPS SSD services and a dedicated server, you get a free VEDOS Disk, which you can use, for example, to back up your data.

The VEDOS Disk service is offered free of charge with every active web hosting, virtual and dedicated server in our company:

  • 5 GB free space for each web hosting (max. 5 thousand files)
  • 10 GB free space for each VPS SSD or dedicated server (max. 10 thousand files)

If you have multiple hosting services, you can set up multiple individual VEDOS Disk spaces, but their size cannot be added up (e.g. create one larger disk space instead of several smaller ones).

How to set up a free VEDOS Disk

  1. Log in to the customer centre
  2. Open the detail of the respective hosting service (webhosting, VPS or dedicated server)
  3. Click on the VEDOS Free Disk link in the left menu
  4. Click to create a free VEDOS Disk

The service will then be set up within 15 minutes and you will receive the necessary information by email.

Free Terms of Service

When the respective hosting service is suspended or cancelled, the corresponding VEDOS Disk service is also suspended or cancelled (including the possible complete deletion of data on the disk space without the possibility of its subsequent recovery).

How to switch to the paid option

There is no way to convert free disk space to a paid option. It will remain forever (until the expiration of the respective hosting service to which it is free) at the given size with the given parameters. If you want more space, order additional disk space separately.
