Q: What is KVM?

KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) is a general term for technology that allows remote access to a server's monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This access is not dependent on the operating system, so it works even if the operating system on the VPS has crashed. Operating systems

When ordering a virtual server, you can choose from a selection of pre-installed Linux-based operating systems.
These are always basic installations without any additional software. Customers have full access to the server viaSSHasroot users.
The last option is to order a virtual serverwithout an operating system. After setting up the server in the customer administration, the customer then connects a CD/DVD of their choice, boots from the CD/DVD, and performs their own installation of any system. If the customer installs an operating system that requires a license, the customer is required to own such a license and present it upon request.
