You have a web hosting subscription with XY until September 9, 2025. On February 15, 2025, you pay for web hosting with us (for 1 year). Such web hosting will normally be valid until February 15, 2026. You had 208 days left with our competitor, and we will extend your web hosting with us free of charge by 416 days, meaning it will be valid until April 6, 2027.

Terms and conditions of the free period

  • It must be paid web hosting for the same second-level domain.
  • When ordering web hosting, the customer must truthfully state which competing company they are switching from and which web hosting program they were using.
  • The customer must attach a document (invoice) to the web hosting order proving the existence of web hosting services with a competitor, which also shows the end date of the prepaid period; this invoice must include:
    • type of service (web hosting) and domain name for which the service is provided by a competitor
    • day, month, and year of the end of the prepaid period
    • confirmation of payment of the subscription fee for the given period
  • The offer does not apply to web hosting provided free of charge by competitors, even if it is part of another paid service (e.g., domains).
  • Before the bonus is credited, the customer must pay the annual fee for VEDOS Webhosting.
  • The number of days remaining in the prepaid period with the competition is calculated from the date of payment of the order with us.
  • The maximum free period is 2 years.
  • The operator assesses eligibility for the bonus period and is entitled to shorten the allocated period or reject the request entirely.

Detailed instructions for switching from a competitor
