How we test cybersecurity at VEDOS (and why this keeps you safe)
As a provider that meets the requirements of ISO standards and the highest category according to NIS2, we must adhere to very strict security rules. However, we do not see this as just an obligation—security is a key part of the service we provide to you in the long term.
That is why we regularly conduct cybersecurity tests, both at the technological and human levels. One of the latest steps, for example, was a phishing test exercise for employees:
– We tested how well we can recognize suspicious emails,
– how quickly we can respond internally,
– and whether our processes work in real life, not just "on paper."
The result? We confirmed that the combination of technical measures, staff training, and rigorous processes works as it should. Thanks to these tests and continuous improvement, we can ensure that your data and services run safely and reliably with us.

Excursion to Foxconn: where servers are born
We recently visited the Foxconn manufacturing plant in Kutná Hora, where Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) servers and storage systems for the entire EMEA region are manufactured. HPE representatives showed us the entire manufacturing process step by step, from the smallest components, through board assembly and testing, to fully assembled racks ready for shipment. HPE supervises the entire process in detail. This is important to us because they are our long-term partner and we use their server technologies in our environment. So we were interested in how servers are created in practice and what ultimately runs the hosting services you use.
It is interesting to see that the technologies on which our services are based are literally created just around the corner in Czechia. We are taking away specific insights from the excursion for further infrastructure development and a clearer idea of what the path of hardware to operation in a data center looks like.
