MobilPouzdra.cz is a specialized e-shop founded in 2009. It focuses on accessories for mobile phones - mainly covers, cases and protective glass. Two people work internally on the day-to-day operations: from product selection and product updates, to customer support and complaint handling.

Why wasn't the existing solution enough?
The original hosting was hitting the ceiling. Dozens of orders with PDFs of the terms and conditions were leaving every day, plus complaints with full resolution photos.
The quota at the original hosting was filling up fast, delivery failures threatened on weekends, and the history was reduced to just a few months due to deletions.

How was the migration?
The migration was three simple, risk-free steps: a short preparation with support (clarifying the procedure in chat), running the built-in script to transfer the old mail, and then a technical switch - changing MX records and quickly reconfiguring clients (Thunderbird, iPhone). The traffic stayed running, data was transferred without loss, and in about an hour it was done; the only minor issue was the iPhone, where all I had to do was tweak the settings.
"A colleague handled the transfer of emails, but he knows his stuff. He had about a 10m chat with support to understand what to do properly and in about an hour we had all the emails moved. He handled it himself even though support offered to assist. The most challenging part was deciding to go for it, but when I did the math, the work we had done before and how much it cost. Today, MobilPouzdra.cz works in Thunderbird and mobile clients, and uses Roundcube webmail as needed. Large attachments to claims go through without any problems and thanks to the 1 TB capacity (currently about 12% used) they keep a long history without deletion. Antispam is continuously learning to reverse mark, error rate is low. Email administration has dropped to a minimum; the team is dedicated to customers instead of cleaning up inboxes. Cost is a predictable 1,000 CZK/month without "per user" licenses, creating a stable base that can handle seasonal peaks.
