Unlimited space for web hosting

We do not limit the space for storing files on our web hosting service; there is no limit set. Customers can therefore upload any number of files. However, it is not possible to upload absolutely anything to our servers.

Web hosting can only be used for files that

  • used for presentation on the web or to ensure the operation of this presentation
  • are intended for the public (or possibly a restricted group under a password) and are linked to from the relevant website
  • are the work of the customer or the customer has written consent from their author (copyright owner) to publish them
  • do not conflict with the "Exclusion from Operation" clause of our contractual terms and conditions (see below)

Web hosting is not intended for

  • backup
  • archive of private documents, videos, and other data
  • programs or data that are not intended for publication and are not used for presentation within this web hosting service
  • storing and distributing images (or other types of files) that are not primarily intended for presentation within this web hosting, but for other websites (for example, serving as a CDN for other websites), whereby access from URL addresses other than the specific web hosting may be restricted by the provider
  • storing and/or publishing third-party documents, videos, third-party photographs, third-party software, and other data for which the customer does not have written consent from their author (copyright owner)

If you are looking for space for backup or archiving, use our VEDOS Disk service – we offer the basic version free of charge with web hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers.

Prohibited activities

It is prohibited to operate web hosting, store data, or perform activities on our servers that fall, at least in part, into any of the following categories:

  • it is contrary to the legal order of the Czech Republic or applicable international conventions
  • it is contrary to good morals
  • infringement of copyright, patent, industrial or other similar rights
  • sending unsolicited messages (spam)
  • direct or indirect infringement of any third party rights
  • overloading the infrastructure or technical or software resources of the Operator or other parties
  • threatening the privacy or security of other systems or individuals

Violation of rules

In practice, this means that if we suspect a violation of these rules, we are entitled to request an explanation from the customer regarding the origin and purpose of the files stored on their web hosting, or to request the written consent of the author of the files for their publication on the given web hosting.

If the customer fails to provide an explanation or written confirmation despite our repeated requests, we are entitled to delete this data from the web hosting.

But you don't have to worry about us. If it's your data, your images, your videos, and you're not violating any rules by posting them, then you can post as many as you want on our web hosting service.

For details, please refer tothe terms and conditions.
